According to a report in ‘The Scotsman’ pensioners in Scotland are missing out on unclaimed financial aid to the tune of £575million. The figures suggest that around 125000 pensioners do not claim housing benefit, 180000 do not claim council tax benefit and 150000 do not claim pension credits.
